Justin Sorensen (b. 1986) is an artist based in Central Ohio. He grew up in Northwestern Pennsylvania and received his BFA from Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA. He did graduate work at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, before moving on to complete his MFA at the Rhode Island School of Design. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally throughout the United States, Canada, and Japan. His expanded studio practice explores perceptions of time, religion, history, and nature at the intersection and overlap of performance, sculpture, photography, and drawing.
